The Office of the Dean of Students is here to assist students with a variety of concerns. Our role is to act as impartial support while students navigate different concerns and conflicts on campus.

ASBSU Legal Advising

The Associated Students of Boise State University (ASBSU) provides the funds for free attorney consultations with a local private lawyer for most legal problems you may have. This service is available to all full fee/activity fee paying students of Boise State.

Free Speech and Expressing Disagreement on Campus

As set out in University Policy 1100, “…the university recognizes and supports the rights of free expression and speech, and remains a place for the broadest expression of views. The only limits on this expression are to avoid conflict with the normal uses of the campus, the rights of others, and the limitations of lawful conduct.”
